Join us on Friday, September 30th, 2022, at 1pm, for our fifth annual Ignite Aging, “Building Bridges”. Join the de Tornyay Center for Healthy Aging for our fourth annual Ignite Aging program. The symposium will feature UW School of Nursing students, faculty, alumni, and their community partners speaking about community-based projects. Based on current public health recommendations, the event will be held either online or at the UW Center for Urban Horticulture. We hope to see you there! Ignite Aging 2021
On October 1st, 2021, the de Tornyay Center for Healthy Aging held the fourth annual Ignite Aging Symposium, featuring UW School of Nursing students, faculty and alumni speaking on healthy aging research. This year’s theme was health equity. The virtual symposium also featured art from residents in a local retirement community and musical interludes performed by a student and a faculty member.
