On October 2nd, 2020, the de Tornyay Center for Healthy Aging held the third annual Ignite Aging symposium, featuring UW School of Nursing students, faculty and alumni speaking on healthy aging research. This year’s virtual event highlighted population health research, looking at aging from a community perspective. The symposium also featured art from residents in a local retirement community and musical interludes performed by alums, faculty emeriti, and a high school student.
